Ice House America has always led the industry in providing ice and water options with the highest level of sanitization.  Due to our automation processes, there is no human interaction in the creation or delivery of your ice, which decreases the risk of any contamination significantly.  A majority of our machines operate 24 hours a day, and provide easy cashless options for simple, sanitary transactions.

All ice is clean, produced directly on site, and has never been touched by human hands. You will be the first person to touch your ordered ice.

Please follow all practical, local, and federal recommendations regarding personal cleanliness.  Wash or sanitize your hands prior to and after interacting with a machine or engaging in any commerce.  Please be courteous to any other patrons who are at a machine and keep a 6ft distance to comply with the suggested social distancing.

THE MILITARY TIMES ANNOUNCES ITS “BEST FOR VETS: FRANCHISES” AND ICEBORN MAKES THE LIST FOR THE 3RD YEAR IN A ROW

Jacksonville, FL (June 2017) – Ice House America, the pioneer in automated ice and water vending technology, is proud to announce that its franchise brand, IceBorn, has been named The Military Times Best for Vets: Franchises 2017 rankings. This is the 3rd year in a row that IceBorn has made the list.

The organization comprising Army Times, Navy Times, Air Force Times and Marine Corps Times focused on financial incentives, brand performance and policies that cater to veterans and reservists when conducting and scoring the Best for Vets: Franchises survey, a highly respected, more-than-100-question analysis of a franchise’s efforts to provide veterans an environment for success.

According to The Military Times, to be considered, the franchise brands filled out a detailed survey, which had more than 100 questions and submitted their most recent franchise disclosure documents. Not every brand that participated made the cut.

Under the IceBorn brand, franchisees have access to three (3) bulk ice vending machine models – all are freestanding, 24/7, automated retail ice and water destinations offering bagged or straight-to-cooler ice that is filtered, clean and made on demand.  Depending on the IceBorn model, the initial investment ranges from $18,995 to $130,000 plus fees for site preparation, shipping and installation.

“IceBorn is honored to have made Military Times “Best for Vets: Franchises” list three years in a row.  Veterans are our country’s best asset, and IceBorn is committed to ensuring that they are offered business options to ensure a smooth transition from active duty to civilian life,” says Michael Little, Vice President of Marketing, Ice House America.
