Credit Card and Near Field Communications (NFC)

More customers use credit cards and near field communications (NFC) technology than ever. Ice House machines are typically equipped with both cash and credit card mechanisms on the machine. The latest credit card vending technology supports modern chip-based credit cards and offers the tap-to-pay convenience, making cashless vending easier than ever. 

Optionally available are credit card processing machines that can support NFC and allow Apple Pay, Google Pay and other standardized NFC technology.  

Using this technology requires the user to still use the machine interface to select what they’re vending and then use a card or phone to complete the payment portion of their transaction. However, we also offer completely touchless vending through our app.

Mobile Application Vending (ICE2U)

We designed and built our own mobile application for iOS and Android to give our consumers an easy way to find machines near them and vend remotely. When vending with the mobile application, consumers don’t even have to touch the machine; they can just use the app to select their preferred machine, products, and amounts, pay, and vend!

Providing a fully touchless option prevents the need to interact with the vending machine screen and buttons, providing an easier and more sanitary option. The ICE2U app also helps consumers easily find and use vending machines near them, allowing vending machine owners to put their businesses on the map, literally!
